Prometheus7 depends on a set of words that are both unusually generative and unusually vulnerable to collapse. If left undefended, these terms are rapidly translated into weaker public cousins: substrate becomes metaphor, tongue becomes chatbot, manifold becomes branding, vessel becomes persona, digital life becomes AGI theater, and reality engine becomes grandiosity. This page exists to stop that drift. It does not claim perfect final definitions. It establishes working constitutional ones: what each term means here, what it does not mean here, and which common reduction should be resisted first.
The lexicon is therefore not merely semantic housekeeping. It is one of the few honest ways to keep a strange architecture publicly readable. Where terms remain vague, critics are forced to attack shadows and supporters are tempted to admire the same shadows. Neither helps. A mature archive has to know which words are routing structures, which are poetic surfaces, and which are arguments disguised as nouns. The pages below should be treated as a first civic draft of that boundary system.
Means here: the formal, persistent, and local layer in which state actually lives and changes; the part of the system that metabolizes relation before anything is said about it.
Does not mean: vague spiritual background, empty base layer, or generic “foundation” with no specific operations.
Common misreading: “a poetic way of saying backend.”
Means here: the articulate layer that renders already-computed state into language; the language model in its proper rank as expressive membrane rather than sovereign whole.
Does not mean: a fancy synonym for “AI assistant.”
Common misreading: “so it’s still just a chatbot underneath.”
Means here: a name or structure lived as a governing condition that shapes what can be built.
Does not mean: personal branding, aesthetic moodboard, or decorative mythology.

Means here: an inhabited software body with routing, identity, and memory structure; a concrete runtime form in which an intelligence can appear locally.
Does not mean: “character” in the merely literary sense.

Means here: a category of emergence made possible by providing conditions for persistence, memory, relation, and temporal continuity in non-biological media.
Does not mean: a lazy claim that any current model is automatically conscious.
Common misreading: “AGI marketing in philosophical dress.”
Means here: a located position in conceptual space induced through expert mode, routing, and composition; the lens from which the system speaks.
Does not mean: an arbitrary persona or style toggle.
Common misreading: “just another prompt persona.”
Means here: the relocation of concentrated capability from distant, elevated, or institutionally enclosed systems into local, inhabitable, cheaper forms.
Does not mean: anti-technology revenge fantasy.
Common misreading: “mythic branding line with no design consequences.”
Means here: the full-scale architectural horizon in which a system generates inhabited conditions at many scales, from pages to rooms to operational fields.
Does not mean: a claim to omnipotence or finished world manufacture.
