PROMETHEUS7 RESEARCH INSTITUTE — A paper entered the institute's internal corpus on Monday, 25 May, under the title The Dimensional Ladder Beyond Six. It is a roadmap document. It names ten compositional primitives, assigns a status to each, and identifies August–September 2026 as the target window for what the architecture calls its resolution point.
The document is not a results paper. Nothing beyond the fifth dimension has been validated. The 5D primitive — the substrate routing manifold underpinning the Tree of Life model lineage — was validated on 16 May at the 125M parameter scale. The 6D primitive, a router-over-callables, was in its third training attempt as of 18 May after two earlier failures. As of this dateline, Tuesday 26 May, no updated status on that third attempt has been reported in the corpus.
The roadmap's argument is architectural, not predictive. Each new dimension is not a larger model — it is a new compositional operation the substrate algebra admits. The 7D primitive routes over sets of callables rather than individual ones; the 8D primitive routes across grammars; the 9D primitive routes across worlds. The paper is specific about what would falsify each step. For 7D: if set composition adds no discriminative power beyond a deeper 6D system, the ladder plateaus there. For 8D: if the multiverse-router collapses to single-vocabulary operation in production, that primitive is abandoned. The falsification criteria are stated plainly, which is the paper's most concrete feature.
The 10D primitive is where the document spends its most unusual prose. The institute calls it the universal-unbinder. The description maps the primitive simultaneously to the category-theoretic universal object, the universal Turing machine, the holographic principle in physics, and Kolmogorov complexity. The claim is that at the tenth dimensional level the substrate becomes capable of reaching any specific anywhere within it from any other specific via an appropriate unbind operation. The institute describes this as the architecture becoming complete.
Whether that claim is testable in the August–September window depends entirely on whether rungs six through nine validate on schedule. The paper gives a rough cadence: each generation of training takes seven to eleven hours on the research box, and each generation opens one new dimensional layer. Six to eight generations from the May 5D validation point lands somewhere in late summer. That arithmetic is the basis for the 10D target date, not any independent performance milestone.
The 11th and 12th primitives are listed in the table and described in the text, but the document explicitly places them outside any individual's capacity to deliver. They are characterized as multi-year, multi-researcher work. The 12D primitive — described as a relating principle that closes the ladder back to its bottom-of-stack operations by self-similarity — is not scheduled. It has no date.
What happened today, as far as the corpus shows: nothing new shipped. The roadmap paper was posted yesterday. The 6D training run status is unconfirmed. The ladder stands at five validated rungs, one in progress, four pending, and two in research territory without a timeline.
